The folding awning system has been developed to enable the comfortable use of larger open spaces in commercial settings such as hotels, restaurants, cafés and patisseries, particularly in conservatories.
Offering high resistance to harsh weather conditions, the system ensures long-lasting use without rusting, cracking or any impairment to performance. It provides an aesthetic appearance without compromising the architectural integrity of outdoor spaces.
Retractable awning systems are manufactured from aluminium profiles. The system and integrated LED lighting can be controlled via remote control. The LED lights are concealed within the aluminium profiles, creating a sleek and modern design. Thanks to the gutter system located at the front of the product, rainwater is drained in a controlled manner. The stainless steel connecting bolts and fittings used during installation ensure the system operates smoothly and safely.
The system’s operating principle is based on the awning fabric in the upper section folding back at a specific speed. This allows sunlight to be blocked as required or maximum benefit to be derived from natural light.
The folding awning system features a completely safe, robust and watertight structure. The fabrics used are blackout, flame-retardant and resistant to sunlight. Designed as part of R&D efforts, the system prioritises customer satisfaction, high quality and ease of installation. The design and registration of the system profiles have been patented by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TPE).
The fabric used in the track-mounted awning system is a three-layer, PVC-based blackout fabric.
The fabric has a total weight of 850 g/m² and retains its technical properties at temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +70 °C (DIN 53361).
The fabric’s tensile strength is 32 / 28 daN.
The fabric used is waterproof, rot-proof, light-blocking and flame-retardant.
The fabric and cord joints are produced using fully automatic HF high-frequency (25 kW) welding machines.
The system is designed to withstand a snow load of 15 cm and winds of force 6 on the Beaufort scale.
The motor features remote-controlled and secure RTS technology. Thanks to the antenna integrated into the motor, it can operate over long distances even through reinforced concrete walls.
The system operates via radio signal using a remote control. It utilises a TGM-approved frequency band with AM 433.92 MHz modulation and a CE-certified synchronised transceiver.
Each module consists of three mechanical carrier rails. The carrier rail profiles measure 81 × 150 × 2.5 mm and are manufactured from 6060 Hydr Norwegian-sourced Thermal T12 aluminium (Standard Rail).
The rainwater drainage-equipped corrugated front beam profiles are manufactured from 6060 Hydr Norwegian-sourced Thermal T12 aluminium, with cross-sectional dimensions of 150 × 150 × 2.5 mm.
The support leg profiles are manufactured from 6060 Hydr Norwegian-sourced Thermal T12 aluminium, with cross-sectional dimensions of 130 × 90 × 2.5 mm.
A concealed LED lighting system is used in the aluminium cornices.
The movement of the track-mounted awning system is provided by a steel-reinforced T10 timing belt.
All aluminium surfaces are finished with an electrostatic powder coating.
Water and wind-resistant seals are used at the points where the aluminium system meets the fabric.
The T10 timing belt tensioning box is designed for easy access and adjustment, featuring a hinged lid.
The system channels feature drop-seal, silicone-coated elastic dust covers and channel applications on the Black-Out membrane.
When the system is in the closed position, an 85 cm wide protective canopy made of trapezoidal sheet metal is fitted to protect the fabric’s collection area.
The metal structure is coated with electrostatic paint over a galvanised finish.
The roof running axles have cross-sectional dimensions of 62 × 80 mm at the front and rear axles, and 62 × 45 mm at the intermediate axles.
There is a pair of running wheels on each axle.
The system is designed to withstand all-weather conditions. The side panels can be fitted with aluminium glazing and folding glass systems as an option.
The mechanism is covered by a 2-year warranty, the remote-controlled motor by a 2-year warranty, and the Black-Out fabric by a 2-year warranty.
In wet weather, the awning must be fully opened towards the rear or fully closed towards the front. The system must never be left in a partially open position.
The remote control must only be used by authorised personnel.
The awning motor is equipped with a self-protection mechanism. In the event of overheating, the motor automatically switches to protection mode. Once the motor has cooled down, the system resumes normal operation. Avoid unnecessary and frequent use.
Chemical cleaning products must not be used during cleaning; cleaning should be carried out using only a damp cloth.
In the event of snowfall, the awning must be left in a taut position facing forwards and must under no circumstances be retracted towards the rear. Snow accumulating on the system must be cleared as soon as possible without the use of cutting or piercing tools.
It is recommended to use a separate electrical circuit for the awning. It is also advisable to connect a voltage regulator to the mains supply. Faults caused by high or low voltage are excluded from the warranty for electronic components.
The drainage holes in the water drainage channels must be checked regularly. If blocked, water will not drain away.
Once the awning installation is complete, no interventions should be made by anyone other than authorised personnel.
Any situations arising outside the scope of the awning’s usage instructions will result in the system being excluded from the warranty.
